Nancy’s art career began at an early age thanks to her parents’ gift of the big box of 128 Crayola crayons. In 1981 she graduated from Southampton College of Long Island University in Southampton, NY with a B.F.A. degree. Following college she worked in illustration, had her own stained glass design company and enjoyed many years as an assistant to a fashion jewelry design firm. She has always remained dedicated to fine art through her watercolor & oil paintings and has been busy exhibiting, selling and winning awards for her artwork in juried art exhibits and at galleries and cultural centers including the Nassau County Museum of Art, Roslyn Harbor, The Long Island Museum, Stonybrook, Smithtown Township Arts Council, St. James, Mistretta Galleries, Locust Valley, NY. Nancy has a painting accepted into the current Salmagundi Club Non-Member Painting & Sculpture Exhibition, NYC, NY. Currently, Nancy works as a full-time artist and watercolor teacher.
