Theodora Tilton

Theodora Tiffany Tilton comes from a family of artists. She is known for painting nature, the American landscape as well as holiday cards. She works in oil and watercolor and primarily finds inspiration in the natural world, combining the reality of the natural environment with personal interpretation.

Her paintings have been shown in more than one-hundred-and-fifty juried and individual shows across the country. She is a signature member of the Virginia Watercolor Society and nine other nationally recognized painting societies. She is the winner of numerous awards both in the fine art field as well as the commercial art arena. Theodora’s work also has been featured in the American Artist Watercolor magazine. Her work was selected for inclusion in The Best of Watercolor, published by Rockport Publishers Inc. and the Encyclopedia of Living Artists, 11th Edition, ArtNetwork. Theodora earned a MFA from Syracuse University and a BFA from the Harford Art School. She currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia.
