After graduation from the University of Miami with a degree in design and marketing, I taught graphic design at the Fort Lauderdale Art Institute.

My career then moved me into the music industry where I eventually became General Manager for a small record label in Virginia. Utilizing my experience in marketing and advertising, I spent the rest of my career supervising design projects for national companies including: AT&T, TV Guide, R.J. Reynolds, Coca-Cola and BellSouth.

Following early retirement and a desire to get back to my creative roots, I became a freelance digital illustrator. A number of companies have licensed my artwork for puzzles, posters, toys, calendars and bathroom accessories.

Somehow my work evolved into photography, and now my time is spent traveling the back roads of east Tennessee, western North Carolina, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

I’ve been blessed with a love of the outdoors, and photography has been a beautiful and inspirational experience. To me, there is nothing so moving as being in Cades Cove at sunrise, and seeing a herd of wild horses playfully galloping over green meadows in the early morning fog.
