Angel Fire artist, Carol Rupp, has a Bachelor’s degree in art from the University of Missouri and a Master’s degree in art from the University of Illinois.
Carol is a representational artist, with over forty years of experience as a professional artist and instructor. She has taught all mediums at High School and College levels. As an instructor she frequently served as a juror and has judged numerous art shows through the years.
Carol has exhibited extensively in the past and owned an art gallery for twelve years where she featured her work and that of other artists. She works in watercolor, acrylic, pastel and pencil. In addition to her drawing and painting she enjoys working with fiber art. Since moving to New Mexico she has painted primarily wildlife, Aspens, and southwest themes. She has a studio in her home and exhibits in Angel Fire, Eagle Nest, and Taos and is active in the Artist Guild of Northern New Mexico, Art Up, and the Art Trail.
