Eleazar Herrera

Eleazar Herrera is a Wildlife Artist from Brownsville Texas where he spent his childhood in the outdoors, usually hunting or visiting the Rio Grande Valley’s wildlife refuges.
He has an Associates Degree in Drafting and Design and is a Senior Designer in the oil industry. Studying and working as a designer has helped him develop an attention to detail. He conveys this attention to detail in his paintings which he prefers to do in oil on canvas.
One of his favorite things to do, besides painting wildlife, is to study the anatomy of the subjects for his work.
His passion for wildlife art started when he was young and gets inspiration from his love of wildlife, hunting and the outdoors. He currently resides in Houston, Texas.
