K.C. Grapes

KC Grapes is a self-taught artist who works in a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolor, colored pencil, batik, and fabric. Her favorite subjects are wildlife and domestic animals. Usually, she paints realism, however some of her paintings digress into a colorful, folk-art style representation of animals living among human inhabitants. Her painting surfaces vary widely from canvas to crescent board, paper, fabric, cardboard, wood panels, and fence pickets. KC and her photographer husband, Robert Michaud, have traveled around the USA and lived in many states during the past four decades. They presently live in West Melbourne, Florida.
