Michael Jon Watt

Michael Jon Watt has over 20 years experience as a Graphic Designer and Art Director. Born in Southern California, and raised on the shores of Lake Michigan, Michael grew up immersed in creative pursuits including drawing, painting, photography and theater.

During his formative years, Michael had the good fortune of private tutoring from master artists and attended Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp during the. He studied Graphic Design at the University of Michigan School of Art and later studied the art of mime, traveling with an international theater troupe.

Michael’s passion for typography and design, and a love for vintage style, eventually led him to open a successful shop on Etsy where he sells custom and ready made bus scrolls and transit posters. Michael runs Transit Design, a freelance business from his home near Nashville,Tennessee, and works with a host of clients throughout North America.
