Michele Meissner

Michele Meissner

The art bug bit Michele at a very young age. Michele entered a painting in the Kellogg’s Stick-Up for Breakfast Contest back in the 1970’s and to her surprise she was one of the first place finalists winning a brand new bike.

Always interested in art Michele has always been encouraged and supported by her family.
She graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh where she met her husband Marc, who is also an artist. Marc and Michele met the first day of school and realized they lived less than two miles from each other back home in Western New York.

Upon graduating Michele worked as a Graphic Artist at Fisher-Price Toys. Over the years she has been the director of a toy museum and with her husband Marc owned a picture frame shop. Currently they have a line of Buffalo prints they design, publish and distribute together.

Born and raised just outside of Buffalo, New York Michele now resides in the picturesque town of Colden, New York with her husband and young son. She works out of her home studio and is concentrating on her art fulltime.
