
Aja Trier
Aja Trier is a fine artist residing in San Antonio, TX. She attended Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA with a concentration in painting from 2001-2003.
Aja started her business, Sagittarius Gallery, in April 2003 when she was pregnant with her son Andrew, and since then has sold her work to collectors across the world. She has shown at the World Monument Fund Gallery / Prince George Ballroom as well as Rogue Space in Manhattan, Karin Sanders Fine Art in Sag Harbor, NY, Noordbrabants Museum in the Netherlands, La Luz De Jesus Gallery, Los Angeles, CA, La Bodega Gallery in San Diego, CA, ArtHatch in Escondido, CA, and a solo show in 2018 at Future Gallery, Lake Orion, MI. Her Starry Night themed works have gone viral several times over and have been featured in publications and websites such as My Modern Met, Huffington Post Arts, Business Insider, Dogs Today, and Buzzfeed.
Aja’s artistic influences and inspirations include a wide range of artists past and present; from Susan Rothenberg and Cecily Brown to Audrey Kawasaki and Erik Jones, and of course, Vincent van Gogh. Working tirelessly from her home studio where she lives with her son Andrew and husband Jay, she is constantly striving to discover new avenues with which to convey her artistic vision.
