Art By Penny Elaine

Penny was born in Miami Florida but moved shortly after to the Georgia Coast, known as “The Golden Isles”. Her interest in painting began with a class at the YWCA when she was 15. From there she studied under a few local artists including the late Bill Hendrix of St. Simons Island, Georgia. Living on the coast of Georgia surrounded by beaches and the beautiful marshlands, there was no shortage for inspiration. Although relocating to other parts of the country through the years, she never lost her love for the coast, or the love of painting.
Penny’s art has been on display in numerous venues, including Columbus Mississippi, St. Simons Island Georgia, Jekyll Island Georgia, and Brunswick Georgia. Her work is held in many private collections located throughout the United States.
Penny has since returned to her roots on the Georgia coast, where the beauty and inspiration never faded.
