Carla Kurt began developing her artistic abilities in high school, and earned a Bachelor of Art Degree in Art and Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Graphics. She gained recognition through a college internship in which she created computer graphics for a project exhibited at Chicago’s Museum of Science & Industry in 1985.
Today, Carla is an internationally known artist, having sold her artwork all over the world, most recently to buyers in the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, Scotland, Sweden, Spain, Norway, Ireland, Italy, and the Netherlands. Carla resides on her family farm in the rolling hills of Eastern Iowa. Surrounded by cornfields and cattle, her love and respect for nature is reflected in her deeply realistic artwork.
