Edward Obermueller Fine Art
Edward Obermueller is a Wyoming-born painter based in New Jersey whose work explores moments of wonder, presence, and connection. Drawing from both direct observation and imagination, his paintings range from expansive Western landscapes to intimate studies of everyday life.
Influenced by years of contemplative practice, Obermueller approaches painting as an act of attention—seeking to capture not only how a place or moment appears, but how it feels to experience it. Whether depicting mountain light, mythic horses, or a fleeting encounter on a city subway, his work invites viewers to pause, look closely, and rediscover the extraordinary within the ordinary.
Obermueller is also a violinist, teacher, and meditation practitioner. His paintings are held in private collections throughout the United States and abroad.
