My journey as an artist began more than thirty years ago, driven by a deep curiosity for image and expression. Over the years I have explored various techniques and materials, always searching for ways to capture emotion, stories, and symbolism. I find inspiration in nature, in human relationships, and in the quiet beauty of everyday life.
The reduction linocut especially captured my heart: an intensive, artisanal process of printing layer by layer from a single block. It demands patience, precision, and a love for detail. My prints often consist of 10 to 15 layers, and in my most recent work even more than 20, resulting in rich textures, strong contrasts, and a profound sense of depth.
In addition to printmaking, I also work in watercolor, oil painting, and mixed media. In my paintings I explore themes such as emotion, reflection, and social issues. The combination of classical painting techniques with a contemporary perspective gives my work both familiarity and innovation.
What ties my work together is the desire to touch and to connect. My art is more than decoration: it invites experience, recognition, and conversation. With its detail, layered imagery, and versatility, my work is well suited for a wide range of applications – from interior design and stationery to textiles and lifestyle products.
I believe art is a powerful way to connect, express emotions, and enrich life. Through my paintings, prints, and workshops I aim to make art accessible and meaningful, not only as a visual experience but as a source of inspiration and personal growth. My work is rooted in craftsmanship and layered techniques, yet it seeks to go beyond decoration – inviting recognition, reflection, and dialogue.
