Koday

I was born in 1945 and have been working in the fine arts since 1960. In recent years, I have participated in nearly 200 group and 100 solo exhibitions. Nearly 2000 pcs. I have paintings in private and public collections. My painting has been awarded many times, the last time I received the Mihály Csokonai Vitéz Artist Award on the Hungarian Culture Day in 2005. 
Art historian Dr. Pál Bánszky writes in one place: “At the beginning of his career as a painter, László Koday chose the field of naive art as a viable path, but he did not go beyond the instinctive world of naive people. but on the basis of a degree of consciousness and personal characteristics, he has matured it into an independent style.
