Tracey Connell

Tracey Connell is a Bend, Oregon–based artist and the creator of Spacey Ace Studio. Her bold, contemporary work blends pop art, graffiti-inspired marks, vivid color, and expressive line work with subjects rooted in the American West, wildlife, history, and resilience.
Working primarily in acrylic, Tracey builds her paintings through layers of color, texture, graphic outlines, and unexpected details that give familiar subjects a fresh, modern energy. Her work often explores perseverance, strength, character, and the beauty found in lives and creatures that endure.
Alongside her art practice, Tracey has spent more than three decades working as a registered nurse. That experience, combined with her life in Central Oregon and love of the natural world, has shaped her belief that ordinary lives and everyday subjects can carry extraordinary stories.
