Ms. Lavoie is an artist with a keen interest in art history, which includes not only the Old Masters, but vintage advertising art — which in a number of cases was created by some of the most famous artists of the day. Favorite eras are the Art Nouveau and Art Deco eras, but anything beautiful and/or clever catches her eye.
