East Meets West…This is the best way I can describe my work. Love of two worlds. Two different subjects one undeniable style.
East…My husband took me on a trip to Vermont in 2001 and it was love at first sight. Growing up in  Arizona I had never seen so much color. I was so taken with the scenery and quaint villages that I immediately began to paint them. This was the beginning of my Folk Art career.
West…I am a native of Arizona and currently split my time between Payson, Arizona and Brandon, Vermont. My father Edward F. Galda was a very gifted Native American artist and my brother  Ed Galda is a very talented Southwest painter and sculptor living and working in Tucson, Arizona.
My paintings of the West are greatly influenced by Native American design and color.
